Mike has been in professional film and video production for over twenty years. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts Film School in NYC in 1982 with a BFA in Film. During and after film school he worked as a freelance cameraman and lighting director in corporate and television programming. In late 1987 he formed Matrix Video to serve a growing need and an understanding by professional communicators the power of video to tell their story in a creative, cost-effective way . Mike has produced video for a wide range of corporate and broadcast purposes.
Roel Torres graduated from Harvard University in three years with Honors, picking up his degree in English and American Literature in 1994. He's worked as an advertising copywriter, a literary publicist, and as a screenwriter. Roel has written over half a dozen critically-acclaimed documentaries that have been broadcast to 128 countries around the world. He is also a featured columnist to Bill James Online and the Hardball Times and his contributions were published in two books in 2009. He is proud to be a member of the Matrix Video team which he joined in 2007.
Andrew Heilpern graduated from Duke University in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He completed his Ph.D. in Immunology from Tufts University in 2001. He has been published in prestigious scientific journals and presented at several international conferences. In addition to his science background, he is also a dedicated screenwriter. He has served as producer on many of our videos for our biotechnology clients. He joined the staff of Matrix Video in 2008.
